BEAUTY AND
BEAST INFORMATION
This year Playhouse 395 will be
presenting Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
for its 2010 Fall Youth Theater
Production. Our local youth will
bring the classic tale of Belle, who
yearns to escape her small-town life
but who gets more than she bargained
for when she becomes a captive in
the Beast’s enchanted castle.
Dancing flatware, frightening wolves
and singing furniture will light up
the stage in this cherished fairy
tale about very different people
finding hidden strengths in one
another through unexpected
transformation and love.
The production is open to all who
are in grades 6 to 12 (ages 11-18)
interested in either on-stage or
back-stage roles. We hope to attract
2-3 mature youth, 17 or older, who
may be interested in stage crew or
lighting for this show.
