Ushers & Box Office
Be one of the friendly faces welcoming our guests! Box office and usher volunteers not only help create a great experience for patrons—they also get to watch the show for free on the night they work. Just choose your preferred performance night, then enjoy the show from seats reserved for our volunteers.

Our stunning productions wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our behind-the-scenes team. From building sets and crafting costumes to managing lighting, sound, and scene changes, these volunteers bring each show to life. No previous experience required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

Interested in learning how to direct? The newly formed Director’s Workshop, led by longtime Playhouse director Martha Reynolds, welcomes individuals from all backgrounds—no theater experience necessary!
Participants will explore a curated list of plays (or bring their own suggestions) and learn the fundamentals of directing. Scripts discussed in the workshop may be considered for future productions. Whether you read a few scripts or dozens, your input is welcomed and valued. Workshops are open weekly during production seasons.
