Auditions are typically announced a few weeks on our website, Facebook, and Instagram before each production.

No prior experience is required — we encourage everyone in the community to try out.

Playhouse 395  is a nonprofit organization funded by ticket sales, donations, sponsors, and volunteers. We rely on community support to continue bringing live theater to our area.

We recommend buying in advance since shows may sell out.

Most of our productions are appropriate for all ages, though some shows may contain mature themes. Each show listing includes content guidance and age recommendations.

Playhouse 395 uses two primary locations:

The Bishop Union High School Theatre and the Elks Lodge. 

We do not have a permanent home so please check the current production page to verify where we are performing a particular show.
